In 2012, we were approached by leading lifestyle brand Barbour with a unique and challenging project to supply them with a brick finish for their new flagship store in the heart of London.
With a brief to coincide with their ‘Barbour Steve McQueen’ international campaign and the ‘old motorcycle garage’ appearance – requiring brick arches, columns and walls – the Barbour Piccadilly project was a great opportunity to showcase the versatility and creative potential with our BrickPlus range.
The interlocking panels ensure that any environment can be transformed rapidly, causing minimal disruption, especially important for retail outlets.
Barbour has since utilised the BrickPlus system to unify their retail areas with a unique and genuine brick finish with installation for concession fitting taking less than 12 hours, and full stores completed in 2-3 days.
Since our original project in Piccadilly, we have gone on to create many engaging retail spaces alongside Barbour. These include stores in Canary Wharf, Bicester (Oxfordshire) and Kildare, as well as concessions in Oxford St (London), Bath, Glasgow, Metrocentre (Newcastle/Gateshead), Blue Water (Kent) and Guildford.
In addition we have supplied BrickPlus and a breakthrough new range of blockwork for their Head Office in South Shields.
We are proud to work alongside Barbour in continuing the development of their stores, concessions, offices and more.
